Singapore

The Wicks Group performed a definitional study for the Singapore Civil Aviation Authority (CAAS), assessing potential value chain segments for building a business aviation base at Singapore’s secondary airport, Seletar. TWG first performed a general market review to scan the industry, markets, value chain segments, and capabilities of Singapore through research and interviews/consultations with stakeholders and relevant companies. This work included a two-week visit to Singapore, during which 46 interviews were conducted. The results were used to then develop recommendations to the CAAS as to the key business aviation value chain segments that should be targeted for development. The project also included advising on the role of aviation regulations in developing the General Aviation/Business Aviation sector in Singapore.
