October 2, 2020 – The Wicks Group (TWG) is pleased to announce the addition of Anne Miller as Counsel for the firm’s legal practice, The Wicks Group PLLC.
Prior to joining TWG, Ms. Miller began her legal career as an associate attorney with a major Washington, DC-based law firm, where she worked in the Litigation, Government Contracts, and Antitrust practice groups. Thereafter Ms. Miller joined the U.S. Federal Trade Commission as a trial attorney where she led investigations of antitrust violations in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Ms. Miller’s experience encompasses work in the nonprofit arena as well, working with a child welfare organization to launch the KidsCourt program, which orients and aids child victims who are required to testify in court. Recently she has worked with individuals with low incomes and individuals who have recently migrated to the US to overcome barriers to securing stable employment, and was awarded a Northern Virginia Family Service’s Community Champion Award in 2019 in recognition of her accomplishments.
Ms. Miller graduated with distinction from George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School, where she was a Notes Editor for the GMU Law Review. She also holds a BA in Government from William & Mary. She is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
