The Wicks Group's technical and management consultants provided a full range of assistance to Silk Way Technics, an Azerbaijan approved maintenance organization, to support its successful effort to obtain an FAA Part 145 Foreign Repair Station Certificate. Our services included conducting a gap analysis to identify additional policies and procedures that needed to be developed; preparing an acceptable application package and required supporting documents, such as the Statement of Compliance, Schedule of Events, Repair Station and Quality Procedures Manual, and Training Program; advising Silk Way Technics management on strategies for successful communications with the FAA throughout the certification process; making adjustments to documents and manuals as requested by the FAA based on its review; and guiding the organization in its preparations for FAA inspection.
