Steven (Steve) Trupkin is Senior Technical Consultant, specializing in Operations. Steve has nearly 40 years of experience in aviation safety oversight, including more than 30 years as an Federal Aviation Administration aviation safety inspector, supervisor, and branch office manager. He was the FAA Certification Program Manager or Lead Operations Inspector for numerous airline certifications, and also served as the Principal Operations Inspector for several domestic and international airlines. He also was the Operations Unit Supervisor for an FAA Flight Standards District office, and Manager of the FAA Eastern Region General Aviation Technical Branch and Air Carrier technical branch.

Most recently, Steve has been associated with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Aviation Unit, as District Staff Officer for Aviation. In this role, his responsibility includes overseeing the operation of 34 aircraft and 144 volunteer pilots and observers. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science (Aeronautical Science) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and has obtained numerous pilot and instructor certificates and ratings
