Lawrence (Larry) Lee is a Senior Technical Consultant for TWG Consulting, specializing in airworthiness. He has more than 40 years of experience in the areas of aircraft maintenance and maintenance safety surveillance, including nearly 15 years as an FAA aviation safety inspector and supervisory inspector. In that capacity, he conducted a full range of certification, inspection, and surveillance activities with respect to air carrier maintenance programs, and supervised a staff of 40 inspectors doing certification and surveillance of Part 121, Part 129, and Part 135 operators; repair stations, and General Aviation.

As a consultant, Larry specializes in developing Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) programs and General Maintenance Manuals for air carriers and repair stations. He also regularly consults on the FAA certification process for Part 135 operators, Part 121 air carriers, and Part 145 repair stations, including reviewing and editing the various required technical manuals. Larry also serves as an airworthiness specialist for the firm’s International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) audit preparation projects for foreign civil aviation authorities. He also is a Manufacturing and Maintenance Designated Airworthiness Representative.
